New Post - Eggs Eggs Eggs...

Hi there,

It's been a while and a lot has gone on, we've been producing our own eggs for the last 4 years now...

Here's a Picture of our first chickens:-

Rosemary and Thyme - Rosemary the Rhode Island Red is still with us now and yes, she's still a happy laying hen. Lovely large brown eggs with a deep rich organic yellow yolk, perfect for boiling.

Thyme was a Cream Legbar hen, she lay a light pastel blue egg in her day but sadly turned cannibal; eating her own eggs! We took her to a local farmer who took her in, at the time he kept a load of chickens and ducks, all running free range on his land.
