New Hampshire Red

Our Amazing Cockerel, he's a New Hampshire Red; we got him from an auction last year, supposedly a laying hen...!
His tail is an amazing shimmering blue colour, he's so tame he'll approach anyone. A very well behaved bird, he certainly rules the roost. Whenever he finds some food he'll call to his hens and let them feed first.

Buff Pekin Bantam

Our Buff Pekin Bantam with her two newly hatched chicks... they may not be her chicks as we found about seven different eggs underneath her when we checked, she left five eggs a few days after these two hatched, we have two of these under a lamp as I'm typing this...

Here's one of the little chicks, so cute. we think it may be a Golden Campine cross with the Cockerel due to it's slightly blue feet and black markings.

Golden Campine Bantam Hen

Here's our Golden Campine Bantam Hen or Road-Runner as we like to call her, she's pretty fast as you can imagine.

Gold Laced Polish Bantam

Here's Frizzle Frazzel as we like to call her or Rock-Star as our daughter likes to call her... she's a Gold Laced Polish Bantam.

They are all coming on nicely, we're getting 5 to 6 eggs each day from just six happy hens.
